Stolen Cartoon Statuette Puts Staplehurst Burglary in Spotlight
Detectives hunting burglars in Staplehurst, Maidstone, have released a photo of a rare stolen statuette. Thieves struck a home in Pristling Lane while the owner was away between August 21 and September 21, 2019.

Alongside the limited edition cartoon figurine, the crooks also swiped two watches and a haul of jewellery. Cops have been digging through forensic evidence and CCTV footage to crack the case.
Police Appeal for Info on Stolen Figurine
“Officers have pursued a number of lines of enquiry including forensic examinations at the scene and the reviewing of CCTV opportunities,” said Detective Constable Andy Julier. “We are now able to issue a photograph of one of the stolen items, a limited edition cartoon figurine, and I am hoping somebody may have seen it since the burglary and will get in contact with us.”
