Woman Found Dead in Brighton’s Queens Park

Police are hunting for answers after a woman’s body was discovered in Queens Park, Brighton, on Friday night, June 17.

Unexplained Death Sparks Urgent Probe

Emergency services rushed to the scene near the park’s clock tower at 9.49pm after a member of the public found the woman unconscious. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives are treating the death as unexplained and a fast-moving investigation is underway.

Police Seek Witnesses to Crack Case

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Wolstenhome said: “This has been a fast-moving investigation involving colleagues from across the force while we worked to discover the circumstances surrounding this sad incident. Although formal identification hasn’t been completed, we believe we’ve identified the woman and have contacted her next of kin. We are supporting them throughout this process. We want to track down her last movements and urge anyone in Queens Park on June 17 who may have information to come forward.”
