Man Dies After Horror Crash Between Lorry and Van Near Tilbury Docks
A man in his 20s has died following a tragic collision between a lorry and a van on the northbound A1089 near Tilbury Docks.
Fatal Smash on Dock Approach Road
The crash happened at around 3.40pm yesterday on Dock Approach Road, causing chaos on the busy northbound carriageway.
The victim, a passenger inside the van, was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the van’s driver was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Suspect Arrested for Dangerous Driving and Drink Driving
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drink. He remains in custody as officers continue questioning.
