Hampshire and Isle of Wight police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a woman’s body in a residence on Nevinson Way, Waterlooville. The incident unfolded on December 28, 2023, when officers were called to the scene at approximately 11:30 am.

Upon arrival, authorities found the lifeless body of a 37-year-old woman. Alongside the deceased, a 36-year-old man was also present, who had sustained injuries to his arms. He was promptly treated for his injuries and subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder.

The police have notified the woman’s family about the tragic incident. Meanwhile, the arrested man remains in police custody, where he will undergo questioning by detectives in the course of the investigation.
