Shock in Hampshire: Woman Found Dead, Man Arrested
A murder probe is underway in Hampshire after a woman’s body was found at a house on Nevinson Way. The grim discovery has rocked the local community.
Tragic Find and Arrest
At around 11:30am yesterday, police were called to Nevinson Way following a distress report. Officers discovered the lifeless body of a 37-year-old woman. Nearby, a 36-year-old man was found with arm injuries.
The injured man was treated at the scene before being arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody as detectives launch a full investigation.
Community Reels, Police Seek Witnesses
Hampshire Police confirmed the woman’s family has been informed and is receiving support. Neighbours have been spoken to in door-to-door inquiries, with officers appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The force is also seeking access to any ring doorbell footage to help piece together what happened before the tragedy.
Chief Inspector Habib Rahman reassured locals, saying: “There is currently no perceived threat to public safety. Our Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying out regular patrols, and anyone with questions can speak to uniformed officers.”
