Murder Probe Launched After Man Stabbed to Death in Hull

A brutal stabbing in Hull has claimed a man’s life, sparking a full murder investigation. Police were called to a Hardy Street home, just off Cottingham Road, at around 10:15 pm on Wednesday, November 15, after reports of a stabbing.

Victim Dies Despite Emergency Treatment

The victim was rushed to hospital but sadly died from his injuries soon after arrival. A 24-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and is now in custody.

Police Say Incident Was Isolated, No Public Risk

The victim’s family have been informed and are getting specialist support. Detective Chief Inspector Jayne Goodens of Humberside Police, leading the inquiry, said the attack appears to be a targeted incident between people known to each other inside a private home.

“There is no wider danger to the public,” she stressed.

Expect a heavy police presence in the area as officers continue their investigation and talk to residents. Anyone with information, including dashcam or CCTV footage, is urged to contact Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 537 of November 16.
