Murder probe launched after fatal stabbing in Kingston-Upon-Thames

Police have opened a murder investigation after a 22-year-old man was stabbed to death in Kingston-Upon-Thames in the early hours of Sunday, 5 August.

Stabbing at Cambridge Gardens

The emergency services were called at 2:16am following reports of a stabbing on Cambridge Gardens. Officers arrived to find the young man suffering from serious stab wounds.

Tragic death despite rescue efforts

Passersby and police carried out CPR before paramedics arrived, but the victim was sadly pronounced dead at the scene at 3:02am.

Ongoing investigation with no arrests yet

  • Next of kin have been informed, but formal identification is pending.
  • A post-mortem examination will be conducted in due course.
  • An incident room has been set up under the Homicide and Major Investigation Team to lead enquiries.
  • No arrests have been made so far.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
