Man’s Clothes Set Ablaze in Kingsmead Grassland
Kent Police raced to a Kingsmead Road grassland behind the leisure centre at 4.30pm on Monday 15 August 2022 after a man was spotted with his clothes on fire. The victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives Hunt Witnesses and Mystery Teen
Officers have thanked those who’ve already come forward but are still desperate for more info. They want to track down a boy, aged 13-14, seen nearby when the blaze broke out.
The teenage suspect is white, around 5ft 4in to 5ft 6in, with brown hair and thin black-framed glasses. He wore black trainers, grey tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe down the legs, and a grey and black hooded top with white lines on the arms.
The youngster was part of a group of about 10 boys, all in sportswear and carrying backpacks, aged roughly 12 to 16.
