Teen Stabbed in Early Morning Ilford Attack
A serious stabbing has rocked Ilford in the early hours of Sunday, December 4th. Police and paramedics flooded Hamilton Road just after 2.20am following reports of the violent attack.
Crime Scene and Road Closures Bring Chaos
The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was found collapsed in the street with multiple stab wounds. Paramedics worked frantically, aided by an incident manager holding a torch, trying to save his life.
Hamilton Road has been shut in both directions near Ilford Lane, causing major disruption. Bus routes 169 and EL1 have been diverted, leaving passengers stranded. Six police vehicles remain at the scene as forensic officers comb the area.
Police Launch Investigation, No Arrests Yet
Met Police spox: “Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a stabbing in Ilford. A 17-year-old male was taken to hospital suffering stab injuries. We await an assessment of his condition. An investigation has been launched and cordons remain in place as forensic examination continues at the scene. There has been no arrest at this early stage.”
Police were called shortly after 2am to reports of a fight near the junction of Ilford Lane, St Luke’s Avenue, and Wingate Road.
