Police Believe Attacks Are Linked – Appeal for Info
Inspector Matt Ward, Nottinghamshire Police’s church liaison officer, said: “These offenders are clearly targeting local churches and we are determined to catch up with them.”
He urged anyone who saw suspicious activity or has seen silver items – like plates, cups, and candlesticks – offered for sale to step forward. “Our churches are the heart of our communities, and we won’t let criminals prey on them,” he added.
