Daylight Burglars Smash In and Steal Massive Safe in Stratford Road Heist
Thieves brazenly struck on Saturday morning between 8.50am and 9.40am, smashing a window to break into a property. They made off with a haul of valuables, including a large safe.
Three Crooks, One Big Score
Two robbers hauled the hefty safe out and loaded it into a dark Volkswagen Passat. A third culprit waited in the car, which sped off through the estate before disappearing onto Stratford Road.
Police Urge Locals to Come Forward
“This took place during daylight hours at a time when people would be getting up and starting their day. It is likely that many people have seen something that might be of help to us,” said a police spokesman.
“If you were in the area at the time, please cast your mind back to Saturday morning and let us know if you remember anything unusual. We would also like to hear from anyone with dash cam or doorbell camera footage that could assist us.”
