Pedestrian in Critical Condition After Croydon Hit-and-Run
Car Hits Man on Gravel Hill
Police were called at around 6.35pm on Sunday, 23 January, after a Volvo V40 collided with a pedestrian on Gravel Hill, Croydon.
Victim Rushed to Hospital
The 40-year-old man was rushed to a south London hospital by the London Ambulance Service. His condition is critical.
Driver Stops and Cooperates
The driver stayed at the scene and is helping police with their inquiries. No arrests have been made.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating. Anyone who saw the incident should call 101 quoting reference CAD 5240/23Jan.
