Teen Stabbed in Islington: Police Launch Manhunt

Chaos erupted on Liverpool Road, Islington, just after 7pm on Friday when police were called to reports of a stabbing. On arrival, officers found an 18-year-old male with serious stab wounds.

The teenager was rushed to hospital, but his condition remains unknown. The Met Police confirmed no arrests have been made yet. They urged anyone with information to call 101, quoting reference 6536/13mar.

Met Imposes Section 60 Order in Islington

In response, the Met has issued a Section 60 order across the borough of Islington. This gives officers extra powers to stop and search anyone in the area. The order is effective until midday Saturday.
