Police Hunt Witnesses After Cyclist Seriously Injured in Edmonton Crash
Police are urgently searching for witnesses after a car collided with a cyclist in Edmonton, leaving the rider in critical condition.
Serious Crash on Meridian Way
The smash happened just before 4pm on Friday, 28 February near the junction of Meridian Way and Ardra Road. A 67-year-old cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision.
Cyclist in Hospital, Driver Cooperating
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before rushing him to hospital, where he remains in a critical state. The driver, of a Renault Laguna, stopped immediately and is working with police.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command want to hear from any motorists who were nearby before, during, or after the crash. They’re also appealing for dashcam footage that could help crack the case.
