Tragic Crash in Margate After Audi Fails to Stop for Police
At 11.25 a.m., a dark Audi TT ignored police orders to stop on Shottendane Road, Margate. A brief chase ensued before disaster struck.
High-Speed Chase Ends in Fatal Collision
Just five minutes later, the Audi slammed into a bus on Spitfire Way, Manston. The 23-year-old driver from Margate died instantly at the scene.
Police Launch Serious Collision Probe
The case is now with the Independent Office for Police Conduct, following routine procedure. Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is hunting for any witnesses who saw the Audi or bus prior to the crash.
