Masked Mob Spray Residents with Corrosive Liquid in Shocking Burglaries

A gang of masked men have been terrorising homes in Harrow and Ealing, forcing their way in and attacking residents with a corrosive substance. The terrifying attacks all follow a chilling pattern.

Balaclava-Wearing Thugs Strike Five Times

  • The suspects, dressed all in dark clothing with balaclavas and gloves, have burst into houses at night.
  • They threatened victims with knives or screwdrivers and sprayed corrosive liquids before fleeing in a dark vehicle.
  • Jewellery and cash have been stolen in several of the raids.

Victims Left Shocked but Mostly Safe

The violent encounters unfolded between March 29 and 31, with the most recent incidents happening in Harrowdene Road and Greenford Road.

  • One woman had a corrosive substance thrown in her face during a break-in on Highfield Avenue, NW11.
  • A man in his 70s was sprayed with acid in Southall but has now been discharged from hospital.
  • Three women, aged in their 20s to 60s, were hurt in Greenford Road after the gang forced entry.

Police Working Round the Clock to Nab Attackers

“Local people have been rightly concerned following a number of incidents that have been reported online and on social media,” said Detective Sergeant Huss Ahmed from the North West Command Unit. “We advise residents to be vigilant but not alarmed – stay alert to your surroundings at night, keep doors and windows closed, and monitor any doorbell and security camera systems for any suspicious activity.”

“If you have any information, video, or images that you believe could assist us, please report them to us immediately so that we can track down and arrest those responsible.”

So far, no arrests have been made. Police link five attacks over three nights.
