Bus Passenger Threatened and Robbed on Route 452
On Sunday, 25 July at around 7:35pm, a man boarding the Route 452 bus near Kensal Rise was targeted in a bold robbery. He sat on the lower deck heading towards Vauxhall when a suspect got on a few stops later and took the seat beside him.
Suspect Demands Phone and Cash in Ladbroke Grove
As the bus rolled through Ladbroke Grove, the thief threatened the victim, demanded his phone and cash, then snatched the items before storming off the bus.
Police Plea to Identify Mixed-Race Teenage Suspect
Detective Inspector John Millward urged the public for help: “If you recognise this man or have any information about his whereabouts, please contact police right away. It is vital we identify him.”
He described the suspect as a mixed-race male, aged 18-19, slim build, about 5’10” tall, with black wavy shoulder-length hair. “No piece of information is insignificant and could help us in our investigation.”
