Knife-Wielding Thief Strikes in Taunton Shopping Centre
A brazen thief threatened a brave member of the public with a knife after snatching a keyboard from a store in Taunton’s Orchard Shopping Centre.
The shocking incident happened around 2.40pm on Saturday, 3 December.
Man Attempts to Stop Robbery, Gets Threatened
The victim tried to intervene as the man made off with the keyboard, but was met with a threatening display of a knife.

Detectives are desperate to identify the suspect seen in CCTV images released today. He is described as:
- White male, late teens or early twenties
- Stocky build with dark brown, slightly curly hair
- Short facial hair
- Wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, black coat, skinny blue jeans
- Dark shoes with white soles
