A daring theft turned dangerous at Orchard Shopping Centre in Taunton on Saturday afternoon. Just before 2.40pm GMT, a man snatched a keyboard from a store, then threatened a brave member of the public with a knife when they tried to step in.

Detectives are urgently seeking the man pictured in connection with the incident. Described as a stocky white male in his late teens or early twenties, he has dark brown, slightly curly hair and short facial hair. Witnesses say he wore a black hooded top with the hood up, a black coat, skinny blue jeans, and dark shoes with white soles.
