Man in his 30s Dies After Disturbance in Norfolk Home
Police rushed to a Bulrush Avenue property just before 8pm on Sunday after reports of a violent disturbance. They found a man suffering serious head injuries and immediately began CPR while waiting for paramedics.
Sadly, despite their efforts, the man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two Men Arrested on Suspicion of Murder
A 47-year-old man was arrested at the property, and a second suspect, 22, was detained hours later on Paradise Road. Both men are now held at King’s Lynn Police Station and face questioning over the murder.
Police Launch Full Murder Investigation
A crime scene cordon remains in place as officers conduct initial enquiries to piece together what happened.
Detective Chief Superintendent Kate Thacker said: “A number of police resources were sent to the scene and the two suspects in custody will be questioned in due course. A murder investigation has been launched, and detectives are working to establish the full circumstances and what led to the man’s death. We can confirm those involved are known to one another.”
“We would like to hear from anyone who believes they may have information which could assist our enquiries.”
“Tragically, this is the second murder investigation launched in Norfolk following incidents last night. I can confirm these are separate and unrelated. We understand such violence is shocking and may cause concern among local communities. We have many resources committed to both investigations which will be thoroughly pursued.”
