Tragic Late-Night Crash Claims Life of Beloved Man on Main Street
Just after midnight, tragedy struck on Main Street when James was hit by a Kia Optima. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but sadly, James was pronounced dead at the spot. His family have been informed.
26-Year-Old Arrested as Police Probe Deadly Collision
A 26-year-old man was promptly arrested over a road traffic offence in connection with the crash. Police are continuing their enquiries to uncover exactly what happened in the early hours.

“James was the life and soul of the party. He was loved by everyone who knew him and lit up every room. He was a talented bricklayer and bowler and will be so missed by all of us,” a Police Scotland statement said.
“A light has gone out of our lives but he will be remembered in our hearts forever.”
Road Closed for Hours Amid Full Collision Investigation
The road remained shut for around five hours as officers carried out a thorough collision investigation. Sergeant David Marr of the Stirling Road Policing Unit urged witnesses to come forward.
“Our thoughts go out to James’ family and friends. Although this happened in the early hours, we appeal to anyone with information to speak to police,” Sgt. Marr said.
