Police Hunt Pervert After Horror Assault on Teen in Gloucester
Gloucester cops have unleashed CCTV footage in a desperate bid to catch a creep who sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl on Westgate Street. The shocking attack happened near McDonald’s between 7pm and 8pm on Wednesday, 7 January.
Teen Recognised Attacker Before Horrific Incident
The girl approached the man to exchange pleasantries. Suddenly, he grabbed her, pulling her into a shop doorway. Police say he hugged her tight, tried to kiss her, and touched her under her clothes without permission.
- The teen fought back, demanding he stop.
- A nearby group of men stepped in, telling the attacker to back off.
- The victim then escaped and rejoined her friends.
Police Urge Public to ID Suspect
Officers describe the suspect as a 17 or 18-year-old male. The victim did not know him personally. Police are asking anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV or has any information to come forward immediately.
