Motorcyclist Dies in Horror Crash Near Newton Abbot
Tragedy struck just before midday on Saturday, 29 October, when a collision between a Toyota Yaris and a KTM 350 motorcycle near Haccombe Cross, Coffinswell, Newton Abbot, claimed the life of the 54-year-old biker.
Rider Pronounced Dead at Scene
The male rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have informed his next of kin. Emergency services, including police and ambulance crews, rushed to the spot following the fatal crash at about 11:30am.
Police Launch Full Investigation
Officers from the Roads Policing Team are probing the circumstances behind the collision. The road was closed for hours but finally reopened around 7pm.
