Man Shot Dead in Penge Street
Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a man was gunned down in Penge in the early hours of Sunday, 12 July.
Body Found on Croydon Road
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 2.20am to Croydon Road near Tremaine Road, where a man in his 30s was found collapsed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gunshot Wounds Suspected
Specialist Crime detectives suspect the man died from gunshot injuries. A post-mortem is pending to confirm the cause of death.
Appeal for Information
A crime scene is still in place as forensic experts comb the area. No arrests have been made so far.
