Police Hunt Four Men After £500k Courier Van Heists Across London

Detectives are on the trail of four men linked to a brazen theft spree that saw over £500,000 worth of goods stolen from more than a dozen courier vans across London.

The gang used hydraulic and cutting tools to rip the doors off 13 vans at multiple locations between 20 September and 9 December 2019. All crimes took place in broad daylight on busy streets, shocking Londoners with their audacity.

Flying Squad Zeroes In On Suspects

The Met’s elite Flying Squad has scoured CCTV footage and carried out intensive inquiries. They have now identified four men they want to speak with. Each is said to have an Irish accent.

“These audacious attacks took place in broad daylight in busy streets across London,” said DC Shona Wilkinson, lead investigator. “This was a highly organised team using various vehicles and high-powered cutting equipment.”

“We urge anyone who recognises these men to come forward. Help us stop these criminals.”
