Police on Alert After Man Spotted Clambering Onto Roof in Lee
Emergency services are scrambling in southeast London tonight after reports of a man seen climbing onto a roof near Hedgley Street and Brightfield Road.

Met Police and London Fire Brigade raced to the scene following the alert. Fire crews arrived with a 32-metre turntable ladder to access the rooftop, aiding officers in their search.

One local said, “I saw police cars speeding into the area, and shortly after, fire engines arrived. It looks like something serious is happening.”
