Tony’s Chocolonely has launched an urgent recall on two of its hit chocolate bars across UK supermarkets. Why? Small stones might be hiding inside, risking customer safety.

Stones in Your Chocolate? The Bars to Watch

The recall hits specific batches of the Dark Almond Sea Salt Bar (180g) and the Everything Bar (180g). The company flagged a potential “presence of foreign objects” found in these bars, causing immediate action.

Tony’s Apologises, Stresses Safety First

“We are extremely sorry to have to issue this recall, and for the inconvenience that this will cause people who purchased these products.

“Whilst the probability of a product being affected is low, we always put the safety and satisfaction of our consumers first and that is why we have made the decision to recall these products.”

They confirmed only the listed batches are affected. All other Tony’s Chocolonely chocolates are safe to eat.

If you’ve got an affected bar, don’t risk it. Return it to the shop for a full refund or replacement. Tony’s urges shoppers to check their bar’s lot number on the packaging before enjoying their treat.

What’s a Product Recall, Anyway?

A product recall happens when food might harm the public. It means pulling items from sale or asking customers to send them back. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) oversees these recalls, warning authorities and the public. Serious risks can trigger a ‘Food Alert for Action’ to keep everyone safe.
