Major Flooding Hits Queen Alexandra Hospital

Chaos erupted at Queen Alexandra Hospital this morning after a huge water leak flooded large parts of the site. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called at 7:20am on 7 January following reports of internal flooding.

The hospital has officially declared a major incident due to the significant water damage. All outpatient appointments for today have been scrapped as staff deal with the aftermath of the leak.
