RAF Aircraft Vandalised in Shocking Security Breach at Brize Norton

Two RAF planes were damaged after activists from Palestine Action crashed the perimeter of the UK’s largest military airbase on electric scooters. The activists vandalised aircraft with paint and crowbars in a brazen attack that has put base security under the spotlight.

Activists Storm RAF Base on Scooters

The daring breach happened on Wednesday, 18 June, at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. Palestine Action claimed two members slipped past security and reached the runway, targeting two Voyager aircraft.

The activists fled the scene before being detained. Police have not confirmed any arrests yet, raising questions about how easily the intruders got in and out.

Protest Targets UK-Israel Military Links

Palestine Action says the stunt was to protest the UK’s alleged support for Israeli military strikes in Gaza. The group insists RAF aerial refuelling planes aid Israeli air operations — a claim strongly rejected by UK defence sources.

“By decommissioning two military planes, Palestine Action have directly intervened in the genocide and prevented crimes against the Palestinian people,” a spokesperson declared.

An RAF insider slammed the accusations as “totally inaccurate,” adding:

“This attack was utterly pointless. The UK operates independently, and Israel doesn’t need British tankers – they have their own fleet.”

Security at RAF Brize Norton Under Fire

The breach has sparked urgent concerns about security at RAF Brize Norton, a vital military hub for strategic air transport, aerial refuelling, and Operation Shader in the Middle East.

Videos shared by activists show them close to runways and aircraft, igniting a firestorm of online outrage over the base’s vulnerabilities.

The Ministry of Defence has remained tight-lipped but is understood to be investigating. The RAF has been contacted for comment.
