Reform UK Smashes Records to Become Britain’s Biggest Political Party
Farage Declares “End of Two-Party Politics”
In a political earthquake, Reform UK has exploded past Labour to claim the crown as Britain’s biggest political party by membership. Nigel Farage hailed the moment, declaring, “The age of two-party politics is dead.”
Reform UK’s Membership Skyrockets
The insurgent party’s live membership now stands at a staggering 268,703. Labour, meanwhile, has sunk below 250,000 paid-up members, according to fresh internal figures post-2024 General Election.
“As we have suspected for some time, Reform is now the largest political party in British politics — a huge milestone for us. The age of two-party politics is dead,” Farage slammed.
Labour’s Membership Crisis Deepens
Labour’s membership has been on a downward spiral under Sir Keir Starmer, plunging by 100,000 in just a year. From a high of nearly 550,000 under Jeremy Corbyn, the party’s numbers have nosedived:
- 432,000 members in December 2021
- 333,235 in 2024
- Now below 250,000
A Labour spokesperson refused to confirm the latest plunge, stating, “Our membership figures are published in our annual report. We do not give a running commentary on them throughout the year.”
Reform UK Dominates Political Battleground
Reform’s rise is nothing short of meteoric. After leapfrogging the Conservatives on Boxing Day last year with 131,680 members, the party has more than doubled in size within a year.
This surge isn’t just about numbers. A recent More in Common poll puts Reform UK far ahead on 30% national support, smashing Labour’s 20% and the Conservatives’ 21%. The party has also bagged 65 council seats since May 2025 and grabbed four by-election wins across Scotland, Lincolnshire, and County Durham this week.
Fueling their fire, Reform UK secured a whopping £9 million donation from ex-Conservative donor Christopher Harborne last week, alongside defections from former Tory MPs.
Verified Surge Silences Critics
Independent journalists have confirmed Reform UK’s membership boost. Former chairman Zia Yusuf shared internal screenshots backing the figures, despite Tory leader Kemi Badenoch branding them “fakery.”
By comparison, the Liberal Democrats hold 83,174 members, while the Greens soared from 60,000 to 180,000 after Zack Polanski took charge in August. Jeremy Corbyn’s new party, Your Party, claims 50,000 members with 800,000 expressing interest earlier this year.
