UPDATED:Serious collision on Thames Road Crayford

Fatal collision on Thames Road in Crayford. The road has been closed and collision investigation has been launched. Met Police have been called to a serious collision that happened just after 10pm on Sunday. The incident is near to Bookers Cash and Carry in Bexley. Eyewitnesses to the collision say the car passed us speeding with others towards Erith but has gone through barrier and is a wreck. All emergency services are now on scene. The Met police said:A young teenager dies in a car crash Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal collision in Bexley. Police were called shortly before 10pm on Sunday, July 7 to reports of a car in collision with the central reservation on Thames Road in Crayford. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. Despite their efforts an 18-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.are.
