Motorcyclist Killed in Horror Crash Near Canterbury

A man in his 30s has died after a savage collision on Stone Street, just south of Canterbury near Stelling Minnis, late on Wednesday night (2 July).

Fatal Crash on Stone Street

The smash happened just before 11:30pm when a red Honda CBF motorbike heading north collided with a black Ford Fiesta travelling south. A black BMW X5 was also involved in the incident.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but tragically the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the roadside. Police have confirmed his next of kin has been informed.

Woman Held Over Suspected Drink Driving

The Fiesta driver, a woman in her 20s, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drink driving. She remains in police custody as investigations continue.

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is appealing for anyone who:

  • Spotted the vehicles before the collision
  • Witnessed the crash itself
  • Has dashcam or CCTV footage
