Shots Fired Near Crawley College – Man Detained
A man has been arrested after reports of gunfire near Crawley College sparked a lockdown. Staff and students were swiftly evacuated for their safety.
Two Injured, But No Serious Harm
Two people were hurt in the chaos, including a teacher, but thankfully their injuries are not believed to be serious.
Armed Police Sweep the Campus
Hampshire and Metropolitan armed officers joined Sussex Police to set up a huge cordon and conduct a thorough search of the college building.
“We have responded to reports of gunshot fire near Crawley College,” said Sussex Police. “One man has been detained at the scene. Please stay away from the area.”
