Teenager Dies, Man Seriously Hurt in Shocking Malvern Farm Accident

A teenage boy has tragically died and a man suffered serious injuries in a horror farm machinery accident in Malvern, Worcestershire.

Early Morning Tragedy on Blackmore Park Road

Emergency services rushed to a farm site on Blackmore Park Road at around 8.50am Thursday. Paramedics found the teenage boy in critical condition and launched advanced life support efforts. Despite their desperate attempts, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Man Rushed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital

A second victim, a man, was treated for serious injuries at the scene before being whisked to Worcestershire Royal Hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Police and HSE Launch Full Investigation

West Mercia Police confirmed the incident involved farmyard machinery. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has been informed and officers remain on site as investigations continue.

A police spokesperson said: “Police are currently at the scene near Blackmore Park Road after a teenage boy died in an incident involving farm machinery. A second male also sustained injuries. The HSE has been informed and is assisting with the investigation. We ask that the family’s privacy is respected at this very difficult time.”

Massive Emergency Response

The West Midlands Ambulance Service revealed the scale of their response: “We dispatched two ambulances, three paramedic officers, a BASICS emergency doctor, and two Midlands Air Ambulances to the scene. Crews immediately began life-saving treatment on the boy, who was sadly confirmed deceased. A man was treated for serious injuries and transported to hospital.”

The HSE is expected to conduct a thorough review of safety protocols and working conditions on the farm site. More details will be released as the investigation unfolds.
