Reading Teen Busted in Bracknell Robbery and Fraud Case

Thames Valley Police have arrested an 18-year-old man from Reading linked to a daring robbery and fraud spree.

The arrest came on August 12, following a brazen daylight attack in Bracknell on June 26.

Punched and Pickpocketed in Broad Daylight

The victim, a 23-year-old man, was confronted by a gang. He was punched and had his wallet and bank cards stolen.

Stolen Cards Used Minutes Later in Costcutters

The thief didn’t hang about—moments after the attack, the stolen cards were used at a Costcutters shop in Wildridings, Bracknell.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of robbery and fraud by false representation but has since been released under investigation as the probe continues.
