Ten year old boy rushed to hospital after taxi Collision

A ten year boy has been rushed to hospital after being hit by taxi in front of Selfridges in Oxford Street this evening we can reveal.   The boy was struck by the cabbie whilst he attempted to cross the road. Emergency services attended and paramedics are understood to have treated the boy before he was strapped to a spinal board and rushed to hospital with life changing injuries and remains critical. Police officers remain at the scene and cordons remain in place The Met Police have been approached for comment
