Dash Cam Thief Strikes in Newcastle City Centre
Police are hunting a sneaky thief who ripped a dash cam straight out of a car in Newcastle city centre – and made off with the memory card. The brazen break-in happened just before 10am on Saturday, 12 September.
Dash Cam Destroyed, Change Stolen
The crook targeted a vehicle parked in Percy Street Multi Storey Carpark on Prudhoe Street. Not only was the dash cam wrecked during the smash-and-grab, but a stash of loose change inside the car vanished too.
Police Need Help Identifying Suspect
Detectives have released an image of the man they want to quiz over the theft. They believe he holds vital info for the ongoing probe. If you recognise him, call Northumbria Police on 101 or report it online quoting log 481 120920.
