Woman Left with Broken Leg After Shocking Road Rage Hit-and-Run in Crawley

Police are hunting for witnesses after a brutal road rage incident in Crawley left a woman with a broken leg and other serious injuries.

Driver Attacked After Calling Out Aggressive Motorist

The 34-year-old victim was driving on Friday 11 September, between 7pm and 7.30pm, when she stopped to confront a Mitsubishi 4×4 driver in Waterfield Gardens over aggressive driving.

But the situation took a nasty turn. The man slammed his vehicle in reverse, hitting her before speeding off from the scene.

Injuries Include Broken Thumb and Cuts

Aside from the broken leg, the victim also suffered a broken thumb and multiple cuts and bruises.

Detective Constable Sam Jedrzejewska said: “The victim has suffered some serious injuries and we are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about it.”
