Tragedy struck early this morning at Gainsborough Care Home in Swanage, Dorset, where three people are believed to have died from a suspected carbon monoxide leak. Emergency services launched a major response, rushing to the scene after receiving the first call at 5:20am.

Massive Emergency Response and Evacuation

An anonymous local described the harrowing evacuation, recalling patients in wheelchairs being moved out under the watchful eyes of first responders.

Ongoing Investigation as Gas Engineers Arrive

Gainsborough Care Home, run by Agincare, is a 48-bed facility over two floors. Agincare has yet to comment on the incident. Police, fire, and ambulance crews remain on site as investigations continue. Authorities urge the public to avoid the area and hold off on speculation until the probe is complete.
