Three Men Arrested in London Over Acid Attack on Toddler in Worcester
Police have detained three men in London over a shocking acid attack on a three-year-old boy in Worcester. The suspects, aged 22, 25, and 26, face charges of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
Horrific Attack at Home Bargains
The brutal incident happened at around 2.15pm on Saturday, 21 July, inside Home Bargains at Shrub Hill Retail Park, Worcester. The toddler suffered serious burns to his arm and face and was rushed to hospital.
Thankfully, the boy has now been discharged, though the full extent of his injuries and long-term impact remain unknown.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Inspector Tony Garner said: “We’d like to thank everyone who shared our appeal and got in touch. Your information is helping us piece together exactly what happened. We’re still urging anyone with details to come forward.”
A 39-year-old man from wolverhampton/" title="Wolverhampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Wolverhampton also remains in custody, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm.
