Stabbing Spree on Brick Lane: Three Hurt in Early Morning Brawl
Just after 1 a.m. on Sunday, chaos erupted on Brick Lane in Tower Hamlets. Police rushed to the scene after a fight broke out near the junction of Bethnal Green Road and Brick Lane.
Three Young Men Stabbed, Two Arrested
Officers found a man in his twenties with a stab wound. Before paramedics arrived, police gave him first aid. Moments later, two more men, also in their twenties and wounded by knives, turned up to the officers themselves.
All three were treated at the scene and then rushed to hospital. Thankfully, none of the injuries are life-threatening.
Suspects in Custody as Police Investigate
Two men in their twenties were arrested on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm. They remain in police custody as detectives dig deeper into the violent incident.
Several roads near Brick Lane were shut down and cordoned off overnight as emergency services responded swiftly.
“At about 01.11hrs on Sunday, 6 November officers were flagged down by members of the public to a fight near the junction of Bethnal Green Road and Brick Lane, E1,” a police spokesperson confirmed. “Inquiries are still ongoing.”
