Firefighters Rush to Charlbury Grove

Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters swooped on a derelict house blaze in Charlbury Grove, Ealing. The fire damaged a small part of the ground floor, sparking a swift emergency response in the early hours.

Daring Rescue Inside Smoke-Filled Home

Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and braved thick smoke to rescue a woman and two men trapped inside via an internal staircase. All three were rushed to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.

Sub Officer Mark Aston-O’Donovan said: “Neighbours raised the alarm and called 999. On arrival, crews found a small fire on the stairs on the ground floor and rescued a woman and two men who were still inside.”

  • Teams from Ealing, Acton and Southall attended the scene

Investigation Underway

The cause of the fire remains unknown. Both the Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police are investigating the incident.
