Tragic Death of Newcastle Teen Joe Scott in Horrific Crash
The young life of 19-year-old Joe Scott has been cut short in a shocking collision in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Joe, from Blakelaw, was fatally hit by a grey BMW on West Denton Way just after 4pm on Sunday.
Crash at Bus Stop Leaves One Dead and Two Injured
Police were called to the scene where the BMW smashed into a bus stop packed with waiting passengers. Emergency crews rushed to help, but despite efforts, Joe was pronounced dead at the scene.
- Two women at the bus stop were also injured. One remains in serious condition in hospital, while the other has been discharged with minor injuries.
Police Arrest and Release Suspects
Three men were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. A 21-year-old was released under investigation. The other two men, aged 21 and 24, are no longer facing action.
