Two Airlifted After Horror Ramsgate House Blaze
Emergency services raced to a house fire in Ramsgate early Saturday morning (October 12). Two people were airlifted to hospital after the blaze broke out near St Mildred’s Road.
Air Ambulance Touches Down as Firefighters Battle Flames
An air ambulance landed at Government Acre, quickly transferring the injured to Kings College Hospital in London. Kent Fire and Rescue Services sent four fire engines to tackle the inferno. Crews, decked out in breathing apparatus, fought the flames with main jets and hose reel jets.
Road Closures and Ongoing Investigation
Kent Police confirmed they were called at 10:28 a.m. by South East Coast Ambulance Service to assist with road closures near St Mildred’s Road while emergency teams responded to the fire.

The cause of the fire remains unclear. Investigations are ongoing as emergency crews continue their work on the scene.
