Man With Serious Neck Injury Found After Afternoon Brawl in Swindon
Police rushed to The Parade just after 3pm today (24/07) following reports of a disturbance.
Officers found a man in his 30s suffering a serious neck injury. He was quickly taken to hospital, though his condition isn’t life-threatening.
Quick Arrest Made in Busy Town Centre
After a rapid search, cops detained a 30-year-old local man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He’s now held at Gablecross Police Station.
“I know this incident will have caused concern amongst the local community, particularly given that it occurred during a busy Sunday afternoon in the town centre,” said Detective Inspector Rachel Hardy of Swindon CID. “I am pleased to report that we made an arrest quickly and have a suspect in custody.”
