Man Shot in Enfield – Police Hunt Scooter Rider Gunman
Detectives have released a photo of a man they want to track down after a shooting in Enfield. A man in his 30s was shot in the leg on Chalfont Road on the evening of Thursday, 5 March.

Police were called at 7.14pm following reports of the shooting. The victim was rushed to hospital by London Ambulance Service but has since been discharged. CCTV footage shows the suspect riding an electric scooter along Chalfont Road before opening fire. After firing several shots, the gunman fled the scene, last seen turning left onto Chalfont Green towards Central Avenue.
Police Warn Public: Suspect Dangerous and Armed
“This was a dangerous and callous attack on an individual that resulted in the reckless discharge of a firearm within a residential area,” said Detective Constable Giselle Randall from Specialist Crime North. “The suspect is dangerous and must not be approached. It is imperative that he is identified and arrested at the earliest opportunity.”
“The image shows distinctive clothing, and I am confident that someone will recognise this male. The community plays a vital role in keeping London safe.”
