Gillingham E-Scooter Attack: Witnesses Urgently Needed
Two men were brutally assaulted and an e-scooter stolen in a brazen morning robbery in Gillingham. Police are hunting for witnesses to help crack the case.
Early Morning Assault and Theft
At 7.30am on Saturday 24 July 2021, three white men allegedly targeted an 18-year-old riding his e-scooter through Lower Lines Park towards Medway Road. The thugs pushed him off his scooter and punched him multiple times before making off with the e-scooter.
Second Victim Attacked Nearby
Moments later, two of the suspects reportedly attacked a man in his 40s on Burns Road. The victim was known to the original scooter rider, suggesting a possible connection.
Suspects Descriptions
- One man is about six feet tall, with short spiky blonde hair and stubble. He wore a yellow and blue hooded top branded ‘Hoodrich.’
- The second suspect had dark brown hair and was dressed in a blue ‘Adidas’ top and grey bottoms.
