Tragic Bournemouth Stabbing: Woman Dies, Another Seriously Injured
Detectives are hunting for answers after a woman was fatally stabbed on Durley Chine Beach, Bournemouth. The chilling attack happened late on Friday, May 24, 2024.
The victim, a 34-year-old woman from Poole, died at the scene. Another woman, 38, also from Poole, suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital receiving treatment.
Urgent Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV Clues
Detective Superintendent Richard Dixey, heading the Major Crime Investigation Team, stressed the urgency: “We’ve been pushing this investigation hard to find answers for the victims’ families. Our thoughts are with them during this awful time.”
Police are asking anyone near 123 Durley Gardens or West Cliff Drive between 10pm and midnight on the night of the attack to come forward. Dash-cam or CCTV footage could prove crucial.
