An elderly woman has tragically died following a stabbing in the quiet residential area of Bright Ridge, Southborough, near Tunbridge Wells.
Kent Police were called to reports of a disturbance at around 11 pm on the evening of August 31.

Upon arrival, officers, along with paramedics, discovered a woman in her 80s and a man in his 20s, both suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Despite the best efforts of emergency responders, the elderly woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries. His condition remains critical.
