Spray Scare in SW2 Ends Without Harm
Police rushed to Telford Avenue, SW2, at 7.43pm on Tuesday, 25 February after reports of an assault.
Mystery Substance Sprayed at Man
Officers arrived to find a man had been sprayed with an unknown substance. The London Ambulance Service and Fire Brigade were also on the scene.
No Harm, No Charge
Tests confirmed the substance was harmless. A man was initially arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) but was later released without charge.
Dispute Settled Out of Court
Both parties agreed to handle the incident as a civil matter, ending any police involvement.
